What happens after you submit

Your request is emailed to JJ, who runs this guide. It is checked by hand to remove spam and duplicates.
If you gave an email address, you get a confirmation copy of what you sent.
We aim to pass your request on within about 1 business day to one or more storm shelter installers that serve your city.
Those installers contact you directly by phone or email to discuss your home and give quotes. Pricing, permits and the work itself are between you and the installer.
If no installer we work with covers your area, we tell you (if you left an email) and delete the request.

Who gets your request

Your name, phone, email, ZIP, city and answers go only to JJ and to the local storm shelter installers we pass them to. Installers that receive requests may pay this site for them, so we are not neutral; check any installer's insurance, references and local permit rules yourself.
